Job Description

The Director of Operations role is a critical position within our company, responsible for providing strategic direction, maintaining a positive and productive culture, and overseeing all aspects of operations. We are seeking a talented professional who can lead with integrity to achieve company goals. This position requires a strong background in senior leadership, operations management, and strategic planning, along with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for driving business growth.

The Director of Operations will help AOC Outreach Services achieve its mission of elevating the standards of community mental health by providing industry leading care from the best mental health providers. The Director of Operations will be responsible for carrying out this vision on the local office level and will show equal value for clients and providers while holding fast to AOC Outreach Services core values. The following values will be the standard for each office and the Director.

Qualifications / Requirements:

    • A Bachelor’s degree, knowledge of MS Office and MacOS.
    • Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of related experience.
    • Communication Skills: Ability of reading comprehension, writing, speaking to others to convey information effectively, active listening and interpreting instructional documents.
    • Reasoning Skills: Must be able to analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures to define the problem or objective. Identify relevant concerns or factors, patterns, tendencies, and relationships. Formulate logical and objective conclusions and recognize alternatives and their implications.
    • Physical Demands: This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing a computer monitor for extended periods of time-Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. May involve moving or lifting items under 10 pounds.
    • Other skills: Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Excellent organizational and time-management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Analyze existing operational processes and identify areas of improvement.
  • Implement efficient workflows and systems to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Provide strong leadership to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and other departments.
  • Oversee resources allocation to meet organizational goals.
  • Optimize staffing level, skill sets and deployment for maximum efficiency.
  • Review and evaluate the efficiency of systems and standard operating procedures in place.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of service or production.
  • Monitor and assess operational performance, identify and address areas of concern.
  • Collaborate with finance to develop and manage operational budgets.
  • Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • May perform other operational responsibilities.
